When you have fun with Artificial Intelligence, then you should know that so-called Artificial Intelligence has nothing to do with intelligence. While the big and famous Large Language Models use their training data for making stuff up, the lesser known AIs, which are associated with search engines, have the advantage that they only make online searches easier by choosing keywords from questions and summarize the search results, which they find. So the answers represent only what is found on random websites on the according topics. If those random websites contain only nonsense, then the AI can only deliver nonsense and naturally won’t know or be able to understand this.
So when asking for arguments against astrology, then AI can’t deliver these, but instead collect websites of fools and trolls, who put mistakes, straw-man fallacies, and blatant lies online. For example the physicist Shawn Carlson’s “disproof” of astrology. I only from my experiment with the search engine AI learnt about this “disproof”. While the AI brings this as an argument against astrology, simply searching for the name Shawn Carlson immediately brings up the names Professor Eysenck and Professor Ertel, who independently from each other re-examined Shawn Carlson’s data and thus disproved his “disproof”. I from these search results also learnt about the Finnish Mathematician Dr. Kyösti Tarvainen, who took the raw data from the French statistician Michel Gauquelin and re-analyzed it. Michel Gauquelin already found correlations between natal charts and career paths. But he in his time didn’t have the methods, which Dr. Kyösti Tarvainen was able to deploy with the help of the Dutch statistician Jan Ruis. Dr. Kyösti Tarvainen thus found that Michel Gauquelin’s collected data supports the truth of astrology even much more impressively than Michel Gauquelin could ever have guessed. But this competent answers on issues of astrology somehow don’t get considered in the summary by an AI. Gross nonsense is far over-represented among websites on issues of astrology and so the so-called Artificial Intelligence adopts an anti-astrology bias. If so-called Artificial Intelligence would be able to identify straw-man fallacies and other nonsense, then its bias on astrology would immediately get reversed.
