I read a complaint that computer programs, which are used to identify certain things, would be biased. Space research produced such an amount of images that they are a case of Big Data. Hence computer programs are used for identifying structures on the images. The complaint states that computer programs are as easily tricked as humans to see faces or insects on Mars or geometrical structures on Ceres. The computer programs are of the type, that learns what humans, who feed them with training material, teach them. With other words, humans train these computer programs to be biased and to adopt the biases of these humans. As a result these computer programs are then biased. This is self-explaining, but there are still many people, even scientists, who are surprised by this.
