This article is, of course, about the asteroid #9007, which is named James Bond. The asteroid #9007 is also known as 1983 TE1 and was discovered by the Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos, who lived from 1918 until 1996 and discovered thirteen comets and 273 asteroids. James Bond is an asteroid of the Inner Asteroid Belt. Although James Bond isn’t examined well, the IAU must deem James Bond a very important asteroid because James Bond is allowed to have a blank space in the name, which is against the rules of naming asteroids.
James Bond is named after the fictional character created by Ian Fleming. It is said that this is to honor Ian Fleming, but of course the name is in truth because of the asteroid number. #9007 ends in 007 and this is the only way that an asteroid number can comprise the digit sequence 007 because asteroid numbers don’t have leading zeroes. #9007 has even the same cross sum as 007 when you add the digits of the numbers like it is done in vulgar numerology. So this asteroid is indeed the most suitable for a name derived from the sequence 007. Some clown has also put #9007 in a table of Hirayama-families, so that James Bond is shown as the head of the James Bond family with only one member. This was done because Family Identification Numbers may have leading zeroes and the Family Identification Number of the James Bond family is 007. The name of the asteroid James Bond belongs to the playful names, which the IAU appreciates most. Maybe this is why James Bond may have a bland space within his name.
Should James Bond in a natal chart represent the British spy James Bond, then this isn’t good news for all those, who have their natal James Bond prominent in their natal charts. Critics and even actors, who played James Bond, said that everybody, who is able to walk, speak, and love a woman, is also able to play James Bond. I know only the older James Bond movies and this only because my father loved them, but I’ve never seen that James Bond would have had the talent for speaking, walking, or loving anyone. James Bond movies are full of hate and violence, but not love. Explicit love scenes aren’t shown. Each James Bond movie features a different Bond-girl, who does everything in the movie. She usually belongs to the enemy first, but changes sides because of love, then speaks for James Bond, who can’t say much more than his name, and drives James Bond around in a car, so that he doesn’t need to walk. James Bond does nothing in a James Bond movie. The Bond-girl does everything. So James Bond is somehow superfluous in his own movies and it is only consequent that it is currently discussed to replace him by a woman in future movies. She would inherit the number 007, but not the name James Bond, which isn’t a name for a female agent. James Bond is actually a stupid name anyway because, like my English teacher said, nobody would buy anything related to James Bond if he would be German and his name for this reason Germanized as Johann Strick. Thus the name sounds already really boring.
So the asteroid James Bond can at best hint at British culture, British humour, and bad jokes (head of the James Bond family). Then to fictional stories as well as to the brutalization and the violence like shown in the fictional stories. The exploitation of women would also be a possible meaning.
