Fortuna is asteroid #19 and is of the type G or Ch. Fortuna was discovered in 1852 by John Russell Hind at George Bishop’s Observatory in London. Fortuna has a similar composition as Ceres, is one of the darkest and one of the largest asteroids of the Asteroid Main Belt. Fortuna has a mean diameter of 200 km, while the maximum diameter is 225 km because Fortuna somehow isn’t spheroid.
