Amber

Amber is asteroid #2933 and also known as 1983 HN. Amber was discovered by the American astronomer Norman Gene Thomas at the Anderson Mesa Station of the Lowell Observatory. Amber’s orbit is characterized by a semi-major axis of 2.61 Astronomical Units, an eccentricity of 0.05, a period of revolution of 1 538 days, and an inclination of 7.2 degrees.

Amber is named after Amber Marie Baltutis. She is the granddaughter of the astronomer Norman Gene Thomas, who discovered this asteroid. Search engines bring results for Amber Baltutis. But I can’t know whether the granddaughter of Norman Gene Thomas is found this way. Mark Andrew Holmes shows a picture of her. But he isn’t a trustworthy source as I already figured out when examining other asteroids, for example Dick. So I suggest to regard Amber as another asteroid of color.
