Zelia

Zelia is asteroid #169 and of the rare type O in the Bus & Binzel classification scheme or an ordinary S-type asteroid in other classification schemes. Zelia’s orbit is characterized by a semi-major axis of 2.36 Astronomical Units, an eccentricity of 0.13, a period of revolution of 1 323 days, and an inclination of 5.5 degrees. Zelia was discovered by Prosper-Mathieu Henry at the Paris Observatory.

Zelia is named after a niece of the French astronomer and author Nicolas Camille Flammarion. He is renowned, but his niece isn’t. While you still can find something on siblings, children, or parents of famous people, a niece already is too distantly related for this. So I don’t find anything on the niece of Camille Flammarion. Her name is derived from an Ancient Greek place name and hasn’t a known meaning. So Zelia really can only represent a niece or a person named Zelia.
