Special Asteroids

Some lists on Wikipedia suggest that certain types of asteroids should be considered to be special. So for example eighteen asteroids should be special because they are large. Chariklo should be special because she wears a ring. Then asteroids with high orbital inclinations should be special. But at least in these latter two categories are only few asteroids, which are named. Would unnamed asteroids be considered, then size wouldn’t be anything special because there are hundreds of dwarf-planet candidates in the Kuiper Belt alone. I’m not alone with giving importance to names because the next list suggests that forty asteroids should be special because they share their names with “moons” of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, or Neptune. Would humans live on such “moons”, then the other “moons” of the same planet would become more important to these humans than the Main Asteroid Belt, which they would only observe as a ring around the Sun. Other planetoids shall be special because they have “moons”. There are currently (numbers from April of last year) 335 double asteroid systems and thirteen triple asteroid systems known, additionally to Pluto-Charon, that is also orbited by the “asteroid moons” Styx, Nyx, Kerberos, and Hydra. But of the “asteroid moons” are altogether 37 named yet, so that asteroids with named “moons” could be considered as special. There are so many double asteroid systems that these must rather be seen as common, but not as special.

Near Earth Asteroids could be considered as special. I listed already the names of the Aten-group. The other groups of Near Earth Asteroids are bigger. At least 53 asteroids of the Apollo-group and at least 68 asteroids of the Amor-group are already named. I mentioned already some Apollo-asteroids and also some Amor-asteroids. But elaborating on them in detail seems to be something for a time when I don’t find anything else to write about. The huge amount of asteroids means a Big Data problem, so it is impossible to consider all asteroids and even groups like the Apollo-group or the Amor-group seem to be too large for counting belonging to such a group as sufficient to be considered. The Amor-group is divided into four subgroups. Amor I are inner Mars-orbit grazers. Amor II are Mars-orbit crossers and Amor belongs to this subgroup. Amor III cross the Main Asteroid Belt and some asteroids of this subgroup are also Alinda-asteroids and in a 3:1 orbital resonance with Jupiter. Amor IV finally consists of asteroids, that are also crossing Jupiter’s orbit.

I could count those asteroids as special, that were topics on astrology blogs. I should write about at least some of them. Some are really special and errors have been spread about others.

There are also asteroids, that are only special for me personally, so I research them more. These are mainly asteroids conjunct the midheaven of my natal chart. I struggle with the ideas of vocation, this is why. I should probably write most about those, that I understand best?
