How Neptune Operates

After I wrote something on this blog about all the planetoids shepherded by Neptune, it is time to write something about Neptune too. I had once read that many people don’t feel or experience anything during a transit of Neptune. But I react strongly to Neptune transits. Hence I think that Neptune is still much misunderstood. Neptune has the task to show us different worlds. Neptune is very unbothered about our daily life or about our survival because such things are meant to be handled by the faster planets. Neptune shows us what else exists or what else doesn’t exist or what is made up and nevertheless real. Materialist people think that these would all be hallucinations. Hence Neptune rules inebriation, hallucinations, delusions, illusions, and so on. But what is seen or experienced in such altered states of consciousness is very real in its own and non-material realms. Most hints from Neptune aren’t spectacular or mystical, but reminders that the material plane is the least important part of a human being. Neptune represents the spirit. Due to this can Neptune also be important for showing diseases and ways to heal.

Transits from Neptune show clearly the difference between an applicative (when Neptune is approaching) and a separative (when Neptune is leaving) transit. The approaching Neptune raises high expectations because Neptune can show the world how it should be. But the world is only as the world is, never how it should be. So what Neptune brings is an illusion. Then Neptune will show you reality. Neptune shows you different worlds, but these are all real and you don’t know them because you ignored them because you were too busy with your own life and daily routines. You have necessarily to care for your life and can’t always pay attention to everything else, which goes on somewhere. From there brings Neptune to you what you had overlooked or ignored. It can affect you. This is the purpose of Neptune’s transits. So you are forced to accept that there were things going on, which you had ignored. Neptune usually doesn’t expect more from you than to accept this. You should best understand it when the transit is exact. The illusion is then taken away. You are disillusioned and disappointed when Neptune leaves.

Neptune operates similar in synastry. There it is another person’s Neptune, that brings you a message. When the other person’s Neptune forms interaspects with your natal chart, then you put high expectations into the other person. But these are too high expectations to be ever fulfilled. What you are perceiving is an illusion. This must lead to a disappointment. The better you know the other person, the more will you be disappointed. Bad interaspects involving Neptune make you experience disappointment after disappointment. If the Neptune-person likes you, then the Neptune-person will try not to disappoint you, but make everything only worse with such attempts. Neptune conjunct the North Node is the worst of such interaspects. All people, who were born in the early 1990s, disappoint me this way, hence I know this well. Neptune square Venus is the second-worst of such interaspects. All people, who were born in the late 1990s, disappoint me this way.

Do you know those women, who always yammer: “Why am I always with the wrong guy?” I would actually love to tell them that they are with the wrong guys because of ignoring the good guys, but astrology teaches me that those women are living Neptune square Venus, most likely found in their natal charts. When it is in the natal chart, then it doesn’t go away and the romantic disappointment can be lived again and again. This must be understood before it can be healed and it can only be healed by finding a better way to live this aspect of the natal chart.

Finally can Neptune also give you a disappointment and disillusion you when you move to or visit another place. At every such place has your natal chart to be supplemented with a relocation chart, which will show the same positions within the signs and the same aspects between all celestial bodies, but the astrological houses will be different. When then a main axis conjoins Neptune, then this is your relocation chart of a place, where you always wanted to go. This is a high expectation. You will probably love the place. Neptune will nevertheless love to show you the truth. At latest when you are leaving the place will you understand that you had fallen for an illusion. You will be disappointed from yourself and wonder how you could ever have gotten tricked this much.

I wonder whether there are really people, who never experienced such a cycle of expectations, illusion, disillusion, and disappointment? Because if there are really people, who don’t feel Neptune, then they can’t experience what Neptune brings and hence shouldn’t know this cycle.
