Scattered Disc Objects

Scattered Disc Objects are Kuiper Belt Objects with a high inclination of their orbits with respect to the ecliptic. Typhon and Ceto belong to these, but are for the same reason also categorized as centaurs! Although the orbits of centaurs, that use to cross the orbits of the large planets, exhibit as safety mechanism high inclinations of their orbits with respect to the ecliptic too, Eris, Dziewanna, and Zhulong are Scattered Disc Objects without being counted as centaurs. So the categories are still a complete mess. Besides this, I mainly want to emphasize here that the orbits of centaurs possess high inclinations because this is a necessity for traveling safely when crossing the orbits of large planets.

While the orbit of a Scattered Disc Object excludes that it is cubewano because cubewanos have rather round orbits and Scattered Disc Objects have highly eccentric orbits, there is no common orbital resonance for Scattered Disc Objects. While Dziewanna is in a 2:7 orbital resonance with Neptune, Eris seems to be free of any orbital resonance. Nevertheless are the high inclinations of the orbits an evidence that Neptune denies them certain places within the Kuiper Belt, so that there occur gaps like within the rings of Saturn or within the Main Asteroid Belt. So Neptune is shepherding the whole Kuiper Belt.

I mentioned meanwhile everything, which is known about the named Kuiper Belt Objects. The only until now remaining thing was that when Neptune shepherds the whole Kuiper Belt, then all of the Kuiper Belt Objects should have an astrological relevance, which is dependent on the astrological relevance of Neptune. Of course Jupiter would in a similar way borrow relevance to the Main Belt Asteroids and Uranus as well as Saturn to the centaurs.
