Whiteknight

The asteroid #17612 or 1995 UW6 got the name Whiteknight. He is a Main Belt Asteroid of no further astronomical significance. He was discovered at the Chichibu observatory in Japan. Perhaps grouping them by discoverer, what would for most asteroids mean by observatory, could be another way to categorize asteroids.

The character White knight

Whiteknight is named after the character White Knight, who is in Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there by Pete Carroll fighting against the Red Knight. White Knight often falls from his horse.

This asteroid is in French called Cavalierblanc because many French had originally thought that it would have been named after a French novel. So French sources are also the only, which care that the orbit of this asteroid has an eccentricity of 0.172 and an inclination of 8.411°.

Whiteknight is an asteroid, that is in a peculiar way important for synastries. I took notice of this asteroid because of an astrology board, where a writer had examined the synastries of all couples among her friends and found that Whiteknight did always show up in a peculiar way. When the Whiteknight in the natal chart of a female person forms an interaspect with the Mars in the natal chart of a male person, then these two persons will become a couple! They have to know each other of course. But Whiteknight seems to be a powerful, yet not much known, asteroid for synastries. Even more powerful than couple asteroids, that seem to add only certain flavours to relationships. (The natal Whiteknight of Selena Gomez is at 9°17′ Virgo and should there be rather useless for me.)
