I love social distancing. This is mainly because of the crowded seventh house in my natal chart. Although I avoid other people because they are usually very annoying, I sometimes wished that I had a buddy too. I thought about how astrology could help me here and found the asteroid Buddy.

Buddy is asteroid #16155 and also known as 2000 AF5. Buddy is an ordinary Main Belt Asteroid. Buddy was discovered by John Broughton at the Reedy Creek Observatory in Queensland, Australia.

Buddy is named after the Texan singer Buddy Holly, who lived from 1936 until 1959. He is a quite famous rock star, who is still commemorated by other singers and musicians. The standard formation of a rock band consisting of a lead guitar, a rhythm guitar, a bass guitar, and drums was his idea. Buddy Holly is an artist name. His actual name was Charles Hardin Holley.

Buddy Holly seems to be an important influence in music. So the astrological force Buddy could be important for music. But music plays in my life hardly any other role than annoying me. Although I have some quite capable musicians among my relatives. Or because of. But I think it is mainly because the environment became so noisy, probably everywhere, but especially in my area. Buddy Holly is however an artist name. This raises the question why he did choose this name. I can only guess. But he obviously wanted to be popular, so that he choose the name Buddy because of the meaning of the word buddy should be a clever guess. The astrological force Buddy would then represent buddies and this would be an as clever guess. Until experience confirms or contradicts it.

When I look into my natal chart searching for my natal Buddy, I find it in a square with Uranus. Separation and divorce are under Uranus’ rule and according to the Magi Astrology Society they are Uranus’ main tasks. So that my natal Buddy is in a square with my natal Uranus confirms that I have huge difficulties to find a buddy. This doesn’t solve the problem, but helps to explain it at least. This isn’t contradicting my crowded natal Seven as an explanation, but my natal Uranus is in my natal Seven too.
