This is already my third article, which has to do with soccer although I hate soccer. But it somehow has the value for society that the most stupid things show up there first or best. Due to coronoia are soccer matches in Scotland taking place without audience in the stadiums. But fans can pay for streams, which are filmed by autonomous cameras. When fans wanted to watch Inverness Caledonian Thistle versus Ayr United in the end of last October, the camera seemed to have fallen in love with a linesman. Whenever filming against the light, the camera preferred the linesman’s bald head over the ball, so that the fans missed parts of the match. Fans complained that they missed thrilling and important parts of the match and that the streams thus weren’t worth what had to be paid to watch them. So here isn’t in my opinion much difference to any other soccer match. The best comment, which I found on the mentioned match, stated that you even can’t blame the artificial intelligence for the mistake because you really don’t have to expect bright heads in soccer. Besides passing on this joke here, I wanted to show the level of “artificial intelligence”, which mankind has reached. Nobody needs to fear that computers will make any intelligent decisions in near future. On the other hand shouldn’t be expected that humans will make any intelligent decision either. This could be a reason for fear.
