Momoyo is asteroid #9178 and also known as 1991 DU. Momoyo was discovered by Inoda Shigeru (伊野田 繁) and Urata Takeshi (浦田 武) at Karasuyama. Momoyo belongs to the asteroid-family Lacrimosa/ Koronis.
Momoyo is named after the wife of Urata Takeshi (浦田 武). Momoyo is an unusual name, so that I can’t be completely sure, but she is most likely written 桃代 and Momoyo (桃代) most likely means the season of peaches. Nothing else is publicly known on Urata Momoyo (浦田 桃代).
Together with Mizuho and Urata forms Momoyo a family. Hence these asteroids can be useful for synastries. A certain family dynamic is revealed by the fact that the first asteroid, that Urata Takeshi (浦田 武) discovered is named after his daughter, while the name of his wife followed only after several other asteroids. Momoyo alone could only be useful to identify a time, when something can thrive.
