Sometimes I quote from anime like Kono Subarashii Seikai-ni Shukufuku-wo ! (この素晴らしい世界に祝福を!) or Mirai Nikki (未来日記). I had good reasons to do so. The Japanese crews do some great research before an anime is made. I did already show a freeze frame from Gokukoku no Buryunhirude (極黒のブリュンヒルデ), also known as Brynhildr in the Darkness. It was a funny and fitting illustration. Please don’t misunderstand such quotations or freeze frames as a recommendation to watch the anime! They are great, but I can’t recommend them because my blog isn’t an adult only blog and the mentioned anime aren’t suitable for minors. These anime can in German tv only be shown after midnight, while they are censored when made available online or in the tv program before midnight. I don’t know the exact regulations in other countries and I also couldn’t consider the regulations of all countries, so I simply recommend here in general that minors don’t watch these anime!
By they way, the genre of Mirai Nikki (未来日記) is slasher horror. So if I hadn’t fallen for Gasai Yuno (我妻 由乃), one of the main characters (there is a Wikipedia article on her) in Mirai Nikki (未来日記), then I wouldn’t watch that! Gasai Yuno (我妻 由乃) is lunatic because she had to bear more misery than she was able to bear. My heart always is with those, who have to suffer. Gokukoku no Buryunhirude (極黒のブリュンヒルデ) is even worse. The genre is splatter horror. Several girls have to bear more misery than they are able to bear and several of them also suffer a sudden, but cruel death. It is again impossible for me not to side with them. The censorship is nevertheless done because of explicit scenes, which are used in Hollywood’s horror movies in the same way. They create a rather romantic and secure atmosphere because explicit doesn’t mean tasteless. (And I think that even Alexa Bliss or Zelina Vega in their stockings ringside are sexier.) Then this is suddenly interrupted by the next horrible event. Kono Subarashii Seikai-ni Shukufuku-wo ! (この素晴らしい世界に祝福を!) is only funny and the censorship is exaggerated.
I think censoring some drawings for showing some underwear (even Sailor Moon is meanwhile shown only after midnight in German tv) is really much exaggerated. But it isn’t up to me to decide who may watch what. So I disclaim to recommend any anime! I also disclaim to recommend any other movie or tv series!
