Refugium

Refugium is asteroid #6475 and also known as 1987 SZ6. Refugium was discovered by the Swiss astronomer Paul Wild at the Zimmerwald Observatory. Refugium’s orbit is characterized by a semi-major axis of 3.14 Astronomical Units, an eccentricity of 0.16, a period of revolution of 2 035 days, and an inclination of 8.9 degrees.

Refugium is named after refugium, which is the Latin word for refuge. This is a place to flee to, in English the same as in Latin. The Latin word refugium can additionally also mean a secret tunnel used for fleeing.

A refuge can be a necessity. Hence reflecting a refuge in an astrological chart can be a necessity too. So the meaning of Refugium should already be clear.
