Kuroda

Kuroda is asteroid #7241 and also known as 1990 VF3. Kuroda was discovered by the Japanese amateur astronomers Watanabe Kazurō (渡辺 和郎) and Endate Kin (円館 金) at the Kitami Observatory. Kuroda’s orbit is characterized by a semi-major axis of 2.21 Astronomical Units, an eccentricity of 0.14, a period of revolution of 1 198 days, and an inclination of 4.3 degrees.

Kuroda is named after Kuroda Takehiko (黒田 武彦), who became the first director of the Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory (西はりま天文台) and is one of the leading astronomers in Japanese public observatories. The observatory as well as the astronomer are known by the Japanese part of the Wikipedia. But I can get only the spellings and basic biographical data this way.

This leaves me again with only the spelling of the family-name to work with. This simplifies the research. Kuroda (黒田) translates as black fields. The Japanese word ta (田) always denotes cultivated land, preferably rice fields. Changing the pronunciation to da is a case of sandhi. Kuro (黒) means black and could refer to kuro-tsuchi (黒土) meaning chernozem. This is the second-most frugal type of soils.

Kuroda is a person name asteroid. So Kuroda hints to people named Kuroda. But the asteroid certainly hints also to frugal fields and chernozem. So Kuroda also belongs to the asteroids, that hint to certain items. Kuroda could be relevant for horoscopes on specific questions concerning agriculture or real estate.
