Znokai is asteroid #7572 and also known as 1989 SF. Znokai was discovered by Endate Kin (円館 金) and Watanabe Kazurō (渡辺 和郎) at the Kitami Observatory. Znokai’s orbit is characterized by a semi-major axis of 2.16 Astronomical Units, an eccentricity of 0.09, a period of revolution of 1 158 days, and an inclination of 3.8 degrees.
Znokai is named after an organization actually called Zet-no-Kai (Zの会). This organization was created by the staff of the latitude observatory in Mizusawa City and named after the z term of Kimura Hisashi (木村 栄). The organization shall be a cultural and social organization, but I can’t figure out what it does. I don’t find anything on it. So this Zet-no-Kai (Zの会) could even be something like the staff of the observatory going to drink something together in a pub after work and call this an organization. Zet Kai (Z会) also is a common abbreviation for the Zoshinkai Holding, which owns several companies and trademarks in the IT sector. But this seems to have nothing to do with the Zet-no-Kai (Zの会), that lends its name to the asteroid.
Already the name Znokai can only be understood if you know about Kimura Hisashi (木村 栄) and the International Latitude Observatory at Mizusawa City. So the asteroid Znokai will also be relevant only together with the asteroids Kimura and Mizusawa. Kimura and Mizusawa are preconditions for Znokai. So the asteroids could symbolize cause and consequence. The relevance still can’t be too big. Perhaps Znokai simply represents an elitist group or feeling like an elite or only feeling proud. This would certainly be more relevant if it was based on a more famous discovery. So Znokai should also indicate that something is difficult to understand.
